For the third year in a row, Bóthar will be holding its annual All Souls Day Remembrance Mass on Sunday, November 1st at 7pm at St. John’s Cathedral, Limerick and we hope you will be part of it.
Every single person is touched by death in some way. Sometimes, it’s hard to know how to remember our loved ones in a meaningful way, a way that honours their memory.
Bóthar receives many requests to remember loved ones throughout the year. Many of our supporters have left legacies, and others purchase gifts in their loved ones names in order to celebrate the lives and memories of those dear to them.
This is another way.
We’re delighted to welcome Fr. Godfrey Katumba again this year to concelebrate the Mass. Fr. Godfrey currently lives in Limerick but he is from the Masaka diocese in Uganda, where Bóthar has many projects. We are very pleased to have him involved because he knows first-hand how Bóthar’s work impacts on struggling families - he has met so many of them and has seen how their lives have been transformed.
Please join with us on the night…
To remember your loved ones and include them in the Remembrance Mass, light a virtual candle in their honour in our on-line candle gallery here.
We’d love you to come along and join us in person, but if you are unable to attend you can still be a part of the All Souls Day Remembrance Mass. Simply, log onto our website on the night and you will be able to watch the Mass live and remember your loved one.
Giving in the name of...
If you’d like to make an offering in your loved one’s name, we have a suggested offering of €45 but please give whatever you can.
If you cannot give at this time, don’t worry, your loved one will still be included in the Mass, so please send back your completed Remembrance Candle.
All funds raised will go towards our dairy cow projects in Rwamagana, Eastern Rwanda - a beautiful way to celebrate the memory of your loved one.
Your support in the past has been deeply appreciated. We hope that this special occasion will help you to remember your loved ones in a meaningful way.
Thank you.
